Overview

  • Nita Ambani confirmed in a June 9 video message that the three-day India Weekend is scheduled for September 12-14, 2025, at New York’s Lincoln Center.
  • The festival will open at David H. Koch Theatre with the US premiere of The Great Indian Musical: Civilisation to Nation, featuring over 100 performers, elaborate sets, opulent costumes
  • Opening night guests are invited to the Grand Swagat red carpet, where Manish Malhotra will present the Swadesh Fashion Show spotlighting traditional weaves
  • Damrosch Park will host the Great Indian Bazaar with artisan crafts, dance, music experiences, a culinary journey by Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna
