• Ambani sampled dishes at Khanna’s Bungalow alongside daughter Isha Ambani Piramal and granddaughter Aadiya Shakti, tasting highlights such as caramelized-pineapple pani puri.
• The menu now set forms the culinary centerpiece of the NMACC India Weekend, slated for September 12–14 at Lincoln Center and Damrosch Park.
• The weekend marks the first overseas initiative of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, aiming to project India’s art, crafts, music, dance, fashion and food on a global stage.
• Opening night on September 12 features the invite-only Grand Swagat gala followed by the US premiere of The Great Indian Musical at the David H. Koch Theatre, produced by Feroz Abbas Khan with costumes by Manish Malhotra, music by Ajay-Atul and choreography from Mayuri Upadhya, Vaibhavi Merchant, Samir and Arsh Tanna.
• Programming across Damrosch Park will include a Great Indian Bazaar, Shiamak Davar dance workshops, yoga sessions, artisan stalls, fashion showcases and live music performances.
