Nissan Extends Magnite CNG Retrofit to AMT Models, Cuts Kit Price to Rs 71,999

Overview

  • Nissan India now supports factory-approved CNG retrofitment on the Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) alongside existing manual variants of the 72hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine.
  • The Motozen-developed, government-approved kit relocates the CNG filling point to the standard fuel lid, replacing engine-bay refuelling for quicker and more ergonomic stops.
  • The kit carries an MRP of Rs 71,999 after the GST cut from 28% to 18% and includes a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty from Nissan.
  • Authorised retrofitment is rolling out across 13 states, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh, via Nissan dealerships and centres.
  • The Magnite CNG range spans 11 variants with ex-showroom prices from Rs 6.34 lakh to Rs 9.70 lakh, according to model listings reported by Autocar India.
