Nissan Expands Magnite CNG Retrofit to AMT, Adds Fuel-Lid Filler at Rs 71,999

Nissan is pitching the factory-certified retrofit as a more convenient, warranty-backed alternative to aftermarket CNG conversions.

Overview

  • The retrofit program now includes the BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) alongside manual variants for the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated Magnite.
  • A redesigned filler places the CNG valve inside the standard fuel lid, replacing the prior engine-bay port to speed refuelling.
  • The kit is priced at Rs 71,999 MRP after the GST cut from 28% to 18%, a reduction effective since September 22, 2025.
  • Coverage expands to 13 states through authorised Nissan retrofitment centres, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.
  • Developed by Motozen Fuel Systems with government approval, the retrofit carries a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty, and Magnite CNG variants span 11 trims priced at Rs 6.34–9.70 lakh ex-showroom.
