• The folk-fusion track composed by Dhruv Ghanekar and sung by Vijay Lal Yadav weaves tabla and harmonium with Pyarelal Devanath Yadav’s broken-English lyrics.
• Ghanekar said he sought to capture the hinterland’s flavour by reworking traditional sounds with small-town English idioms.
• The music video unfolds in a fast-paced montage of rural life, familial affection and light-hearted banter to introduce the film’s emotional landscape.
• Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Nishaanchi features Aaishvary Thackeray in a dual role alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra and hits theaters on September 19.
