Overview

• Theory examinations for both classes are scheduled from October 14 to November 18 across centres in India and overseas, with detailed subject-wise timetables issued.
• Practical assessments for vocational and skill subjects are set in two blocks from September 20–23 and September 24–27.
• The board has stated that exam dates will not change and that students should not pay any additional fees at examination centres.
• Admit cards must be downloaded via sdmis.nios.ac.in three to four days before the exams, and candidates are instructed to carry valid identification to the centre.
• NIOS will issue mark-sheet-cum-certificates and migration/transfer certificates to successful candidates, though reports differ on whether distribution occurs through accredited institutions or by post if an accredited institution is cancelled.
