Overview
- Nintendo has confirmed that GameCube games will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches on June 5, 2025.
- The first three titles available at launch are The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Soulcalibur II, and F-Zero GX, with more games coming later.
- GameCube games on the Switch 2 will feature higher resolution, online multiplayer support, customizable controls, and an optional CRT filter for a retro experience.
- Access to the GameCube library requires a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, exclusive to the new console.
- A wireless GameCube controller replicating the original design will be available initially to pre-order customers only.
