Overview

• The patch went live on September 23, 2025 for Switch 2 and is available to download now.
• Free Roam now displays P Switches you have triggered and Peach Medallions you have collected, allows selecting a P Switch to move near it, and adjusts some Medallion appearance conditions.
• UFOs appear more often in Free Roam and players can transform into the character abducted by a UFO, with an opt-out via the Dash Food setting.
• Online play adds joining friends in Knockout Tour from the Friends menu, enables up to two players to Free Roam while waiting for full games, and improves spectating options and result timing.
• Gameplay changes speed up item box respawns, extend post-crash invincibility, reduce bounce when landing on rivals, increase lap-type course picks, and fix numerous issues including Spiny Shell behavior, ranking errors, Bullet Bill clipping, and track-specific glitches.
