Overview

  • As of August 3, major U.S. retailers have bumped the standard Switch to $339.99, the OLED model to $399.99 and the Switch Lite to $229.99.
  • Nintendo has also raised prices on select Switch 2 accessories, amiibo figures and the Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo under the same market-condition policy.
  • Pricing for the Switch 2 console, its games and Nintendo Switch Online memberships remains unchanged for now.
  • These adjustments mirror Canadian hikes and underscore how evolving Trump-era tariffs on Asian manufacturing hubs have disrupted Nintendo’s production costs.
  • Nintendo warns that additional price adjustments may become necessary if market conditions continue to evolve.
