Nintendo Raises Outlook as Switch 2 Sales Hit 10.36 Million in First-Half Results

Backward compatibility kept older Switch games selling even as digital and IP revenue declined year over year.

  • Company sales totaled 1,099.5 billion yen with operating profit of 145.1 billion yen, and 79.5% of revenue came from outside Japan.
  • In the July–September quarter, Switch 2 sold 4.54 million consoles and 11.95 million games, compared with 0.91 million consoles and 37.16 million games for the original Switch.
