Overview

• Nintendo is accepting applications from July 18 at 6 PM ET through July 21 at 11 AM ET for its second closed Switch Online Playtest Program.
• Up to 40,000 Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members aged 18 and older can apply individually or in groups of up to four across select regions including the US, Japan, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
• The playtest runs July 28 to August 10 and supports both the original Switch and the new Switch 2 to evaluate the service’s performance on each platform.
• Participants must maintain an active Expansion Pack subscription as of July 17 and agree not to disclose any test content or media under the program’s confidentiality requirements.
• Previous leaks suggested the mystery service is an MMO-style experience focused on cooperative planet development, resource management and social hubs.
