Overview
- Nintendo confirmed that Mole Mania, Avenging Spirit and Revenge of the 'Gator will join the Game Boy app on Oct. 27, 2026 for active Nintendo Switch Online members.
- All three titles will be playable on both Switch and Switch 2 and do not require the Expansion Pack add-on, meaning they are included with the service’s standard membership.
- Mole Mania is a 1996 puzzle game produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, Avenging Spirit is a 1991 arcade action-platformer ported to Game Boy, and Revenge of the 'Gator is an early HAL Laboratory pinball title that inspired Kirby’s Pinball Land.
- The October additions bring the Game Boy/Game Boy Color catalog on Switch Online to 49 games, with four further titles remaining exclusive to the Japanese version of the app.
- The drop continues Nintendo’s steady 2026 pattern of small retro releases, making lesser-known handheld titles easier to access now that older services like the 3DS Virtual Console are closed.
