• The main series was filmed this summer at MMC Studios in Cologne and spans 12 episodes.
• Frank Buschmann, Jan Köppen and Laura Wontorra return as hosts alongside returning athletes for nostalgia moments.
• RTL has promised “witzige und ungewöhnliche Überraschungen” in all preliminary rounds, including a special stunt by Buschmann.
• Production is under way on a ten-episode Kids Academy spin-off in Cologne coached by former Ninja Warrior athletes Melanie Schmidt, Ada Theilken, Lukas Homann and Moritz Hans.
• The youth series will air in autumn on RTL+ and Toggo with KiKA presenter Jessica Schöne leading the training camp.
