Ninja Gaiden 4 Announced Alongside Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Remaster

The long-awaited sequel and remastered classic were revealed at Xbox Developer Direct, with the sequel set for a Fall 2025 release.

Ninja Gaiden 4, co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, introduces a new protagonist, Yakumo, alongside returning character Ryu Hayabusa.
The game is set in a transformed Tokyo plagued by the Dark Dragon, featuring fast-paced, challenging combat and new traversal mechanics like rail grinding and wire skills.
Ryu Hayabusa will play a significant role in the story and be a playable character, with Yakumo offering a fresh narrative and gameplay perspective.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remaster of the 2008 classic rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, is available now on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC, including Game Pass.
Developers emphasized staying true to the series’ challenging gameplay while incorporating modern visuals, additional characters, and refined mechanics.
