Nine-Year-Old Girl in Critical Condition After Bus Collision in Southeast London

Her five-year-old brother also injured; bus driver arrested and police seek witnesses

The incident occurred on Watling Street, near Halcot Avenue, Bexleyheath, just after 9am.
Both children were with a family member when they were struck by the bus.
The nine-year-old girl is in a life-threatening condition; her brother was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The male bus driver was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
