Nine-Year-Old Cyclist Killed in Collision With School Bus in Almonte

Lanark County OPP has brought in collision reconstruction experts to determine the cause of the crash near local schools.

  • The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on June 25 along Paterson Street, close to R. Tait Mackenzie Public School.
  • Witnesses at the scene administered lifesaving measures after the boy, who was riding a bicycle, collided with the bus.
