- A first group of 22 adult dogs from Concho Valley PAWS arrived Monday night, followed by nine puppies on Wednesday, totaling 31 animals now in Chicago.
- The nine puppies were flown into Waukesha Airport in Wisconsin and then driven three hours by van to PAWS Chicago’s medical center in Little Village.
- Staff and volunteers immediately began vaccinating, microchipping, and spaying or neutering each dog ahead of adoptions expected within days.
