Nine Indians Among 15 Dead in Saudi Arabia Bus Accident

The Indian consulate in Jeddah is providing support to families and authorities following the tragic collision near Jizan.

A road accident near Jizan in western Saudi Arabia claimed 15 lives, including nine Indian nationals, early Sunday morning.
The accident involved a bus carrying 26 workers that collided with a trailer in the Wadi bin Hashbal region of Asir province.
The Indian Consulate in Jeddah has set up a helpline and is working closely with local authorities and families of the deceased.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar expressed grief over the incident and assured full support to affected families.
The deceased also included workers from Nepal and Ghana, while two individuals sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
