Overview

• The restructure, effective July 1, consolidates Nine’s free and subscription broadcast operations into a single division under Amanda Laing with no job cuts reported.
• Michael Healy is appointed Executive Director – Entertainment, overseeing all content commissioning for Channel 9, 9Now and Stan.
• Cailah Scobie will serve as Executive Director – Entertainment Content Acquisitions, leading negotiations and rights deals across Nine’s platforms.
• Brent Williams will merge the Stan Sport and Wide World of Sports production teams as Laing launches a strategic program to drive efficiencies and growth in Nine’s sports business.
• Nine has created Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer roles for the division and will realign state managing directors in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia under Laing to spur regional expansion.
