Overview
- Late Wednesday night a Raj Kalpana Travels sleeper bus travelling from Delhi to Mahoba caught fire near Jewar on the Yamuna Expressway, killing nine people and injuring several of the roughly 30–35 passengers on board.
- Many passengers were asleep when smoke and flames spread quickly, and survivors say people broke windows and jumped onto the highway to escape while others were trapped inside.
