Nike Unveils One Piece Air Max Plus Collection

The three Devil Fruit–themed sneakers use exclusive TPU-textured uppers and will roll out in staged regional drops to target collectors.

Overview

  • Nike officially unveiled the One Piece x Air Max Plus collaboration on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, releasing full imagery, style codes and a global retailer calendar.
  • The collection includes three Air Max Plus colorways inspired by One Piece Devil Fruits — Gomu Gomu (purple), Ope Ope (red) and Mera Mera (orange) — plus matching jerseys, T‑shirts and caps, with each sneaker priced at $180.
  • Nike is using a staggered, region-specific rollout: the Tokyo pop-up runs Sept. 4–6, the Mera Mera no Mi drops at select retailers in parts of Asia and Mexico on Sept. 12, the Ope Ope no Mi reaches U.S. and European shops on Sept. 19, and the Gomu Gomu no Mi will be offered through SNKRS on Sept. 25.
  • A published list of participating stores names specific retailers from HBX and NIKE LAB PS7 to Patta and Offspring, signaling where limited stock and exclusive releases will appear during the staged campaign.
  • The tie-up taps One Piece’s global fan base and Nike’s scarcity-driven SNKRS model, which could boost collector demand and regional resale activity while bringing anime iconography into mainstream sneaker culture.
