Overview
- Bandai Namco lists a staggered rollout beginning Dec. 3 on PC (3 pm PST/6 pm EST) and regional midnight on Dec. 4 for most consoles (9 pm PST Dec. 3 on the U.S. West Coast).
- To play the new Nightfarers Scholar and Undertaker, defeat Tricephalos and then speak to the Iron Menial at Roundtable Hold; the Balancers expedition and The Great Hollows open after clearing one additional Nightlord.
- The Forsaken Hollows costs $15 as a standalone purchase and is included with Nightreign’s Deluxe and Collector’s editions.
- The DLC adds two playable characters, two new bosses and a Shifting Earth area called the Great Hollows; previews detail the Undertaker’s Confluence passive and Loathsome Hex ultimate.
- Director Junya Ishizaki says the expansion is “a little bit harder” than the main game but “not ridiculous,” and PC players won’t have a Steam preload, with a preparatory patch arriving earlier on launch day.
