Nicola Sturgeon Receives £25k for ITV Election Night Role

The former Scottish first minister faced criticism for accepting the payment while still serving as an MSP.

Nicola Sturgeon was paid £25,000 for her appearance on ITV's general election results programme in July.
The payment was disclosed in her register of interests and was made to her company, Nicola Sturgeon Limited.
Sturgeon also received over £3,000 in travel and accommodation expenses for the event.
The SNP had previously criticized Conservative Ruth Davidson for accepting a similar payment in 2019.
Sturgeon remains a suspect in an ongoing police investigation into SNP finances but maintains her innocence.
