Nicki Minaj has denied Kanye West's request to include their collaboration 'New Body' on his new album 'Vultures', stating that the song, which was created three years ago, is no longer relevant as she has just released a new album 'Pink Friday 2'.
West publicly asked Minaj to clear her verse for the song via a tweet, to which Minaj responded during an Instagram live stream, expressing her refusal.
West, who now goes by Ye, was planning to release 'Vultures', a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, on December 15, but the album has not yet appeared on streaming platforms.
'New Body' was initially recorded in 2018 for West's scrapped album 'Yandhi' and was later re-recorded for his 2019 gospel album 'Jesus Is King', but was never released.
West has been embroiled in several controversies recently, including making anti-Semitic comments, which have led to a number of companies cutting ties with him.
