Nick Jonas Nears Deal to Play Paul Stanley in KISS Biopic

Backed by STX alongside Pophouse under McG’s direction, the film is slated to start production late next year with casting still open for Gene Simmons.

Overview

  • Jonas is in final negotiations to portray KISS frontman Paul Stanley and will record his own vocals after intensive training to match Stanley’s signature sound.
  • Shout It Out Loud will chronicle the band’s formation and first four years in the 1970s under the direction of McG.
  • Production is slated to begin in late 2025 or early 2026, fully financed by STX with Sweden-based Pophouse contributing after acquiring the band’s global rights.
