Nichushkin declines comment on off-ice incident as Avalanche open new season

Nichushkin said he left playoff series due to family reasons and urged focusing on new season.
Prior to Game 3, team doctor encountered intoxicated woman in Nichushkin's hotel room.
That doctor no longer with Avalanche but circumstances unclear.
NHL did not investigate incident.
Nichushkin thanked teammates for their support.
