Nicholas Rossi, Accused of Faking Death to Evade Rape Charges, Appears in Utah Court

Nicholas Rossi, a man accused of faking his own death and fleeing the US to avoid rape charges, has appeared in court in Utah.
Rossi, who is charged with raping a woman in 2008, was not identified as a suspect until about a decade later due to a backlog of DNA test kits at the Utah State Crime Lab.
During his court appearance, Rossi denied that he was the suspect and claimed to be an Irish orphan named Arthur Knight.
Rossi was extradited from Scotland earlier this month after a lengthy legal battle.
The next hearing in the case is due to take place later in January.
