Nia Long Cast as Katherine Jackson in Upcoming Michael Jackson Biopic 'Michael'

Film to Feature Michael Jackson's Nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in Lead Role and Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson; Set for Release in April 2025

Nia Long has been cast as Katherine Jackson, the mother of Michael Jackson, in the upcoming biopic 'Michael'.
The film, directed by Antoine Fuqua, will also feature Michael Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the role of the late pop star.
Oscar nominee Colman Domingo will portray Joe Jackson, Michael's father.
The film is being produced in cooperation with Jackson’s estate and is set to release on April 18, 2025.
Long is known for her roles in 'Boyz N the Hood', 'The Best Man' franchise, and 'You People'.
