- On August 16, NIA officers with Dharmavaram police arrested 42-year-old Kothwal Noor Mohammad for allegedly communicating with Jaish-e-Mohammed and other banned outfits.

- Investigators seized multiple SIM cards, the suspect’s mobile phone and radical literature and dispatched them for forensic examination.
- Noor Mohammad was produced before a Kadiri court and remanded for 14 days under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act before transfer to Kadapa Central Prison.
