NIA Conducts Nationwide Raids, Detains Suspects Linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed

The crackdown spans five states as part of an investigation into terror threats and activities linked to the Pakistan-based group.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) executed raids at 22 locations across Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Delhi.
Ten individuals were apprehended in Assam, while several others were detained in Maharashtra, including former SIMI member Mukhtar Ansari.
The operation is part of case RC-13/24/NIA/DLI, aiming to dismantle potential terror networks associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Assam's Chief Minister confirmed the arrests, emphasizing a coordinated effort against Islamic fundamentalists.
Investigations follow recent bomb threats targeting railway stations in Rajasthan, which were linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed.
