• The supplementary chargesheet was filed before the special NIA court in Chandigarh on Friday.
• Abhijot Singh, arrested in April, is accused as a co-conspirator after allegedly being recruited during a December 2023 trip to Armenia by Shamsher Shera tied to Happy Passia.
• The NIA alleges Pakistan-based Harwinder Singh alias Rinda orchestrated the plot with US-based Harpreet Singh alias Happy Passia, who managed recruitment, financing, weapons and explosives.
• Investigators say Abhijot conducted reconnaissance in July 2024 and, with Rohan Masih, attempted to kill the retired officer in August 2024 before Rohan and Vishal Masih carried out the September 2024 grenade attack.
• The agency says efforts continue to identify additional operatives, logistics providers and sources of terror hardware linked to the conspiracy.
