Overview

• The supplementary charge sheet filed before the NIA Special Court in Ernakulam names Rafeek M S as the 64th accused and charges him under the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
• The NIA alleges Rafeek harboured core conspirator Muhammad Shefeek after the April 2022 attack and destroyed key evidence.
• Investigations revealed Rafeek received arms and physical training at a PFI-run facility in Aluva as part of preparations for terrorist acts.
