Overview

• Kashmir Singh Galwaddi, a 2016 Nabha jailbreak escapee and key Babbar Khalsa operative, was arrested in Motihari, Bihar, on May 11, 2025.
• Galwaddi had been providing shelter, logistical support, and terror funds to Khalistani terrorists linked to cross-border smuggling and attacks in India.
• The NIA had declared Galwaddi a proclaimed offender, issued non-bailable warrants for his arrest, and announced a Rs 10 lakh reward for information leading to his capture.
