Overview

  • Multiple sclerosis is a lifelong autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord.
  • Over 150,000 people in the UK live with MS and nearly 7,100 receive a diagnosis each year.
  • Symptoms vary widely but often include severe fatigue, muscle cramps, numbness or tingling and visual disturbances.
