- NHS advice says those needing additional relief while on co-codamol can use over-the-counter ibuprofen or aspirin.
- Patients are urged to avoid other paracetamol-containing products, including Tramacet, co-dydramol, some migraine medicines, and cough and cold remedies such as Lemsip and Night Nurse.
