NHL Teams to Wear Helmet Decals Honoring Gaudreau Brothers

All 32 teams will display the tribute throughout October to commemorate Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, who were killed in a tragic accident.

The helmet decals feature a 'G' flanked by Johnny Gaudreau's No. 13 and Matthew Gaudreau's No. 21.
The tribute will be worn by NHL players starting with the season opener in Prague, Czech Republic, on October 8.
Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were killed on August 29 by a suspected drunk driver while bicycling in New Jersey.
The Columbus Blue Jackets will also wear a No. 13 patch on their uniforms for the entire season.
The Blue Jackets and other teams have held tribute videos, moments of silence, and candlelight vigils in honor of the brothers.
