NHL Secures DAZN as Exclusive International Home for NHL.TV

It taps into DAZN’s global platform of more than 120 million registered sports fans to provide every game on demand to nearly 200 countries with limited live blackouts.

Overview

  • The multi-year partnership launches with the 2025-26 season and grants DAZN exclusive international rights to NHL.TV in nearly 200 markets outside the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
  • Subscribers can watch every regular-season game and the full Stanley Cup Playoffs on demand through standalone NHL.TV packages or as add-ons to existing DAZN subscriptions.
  • Select live games will be blacked out in countries with existing national broadcast agreements but will become available on DAZN the following day.
  • Fans can stream NHL.TV on any device supported by DAZN, including smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and gaming consoles, for maximum viewing flexibility.
  • NHL chief operating officer Steve McArdle said the deal is central to the league’s strategy to engage its growing international fan base, noting that 30 percent of players are born outside North America.
