51-year-old NHL legend Jaromir Jagr has begun his 36th season of professional hockey, playing for his hometown club, the Kladno Knights in the Czech Republic.
Jagr, who owns the Knights, made his debut in the team's 26th game of the season, a common late start for the player.
In his first game, Jagr played for 13 minutes and 44 seconds, even managing to assist in a goal.
Despite a strong performance from Jagr, the Knights lost the game 4-3 to league leaders Pardubice.
Jagr's return to the ice is expected to boost the Knights, who are currently second to last in the league.
