NHL All-Star Weekend 2024 Expands to Three-Day Event, Features PWHL Showcase

Event Marks Return of All-Star Player Draft, Honors 1967 Maple Leafs Team

The NHL All-Star Weekend 2024 will be expanded to a three-day event, kicking off on February 1 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
The event will feature the return of the All-Star player draft after nearly a decade, where four captains and a celebrity co-captain will choose their teams for the All-Star Game.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) will have a three-on-three showcase, marking the first time the NHL has partnered with a women’s professional league for a stand-alone event.
The NHL will also honor the 1967 Maple Leafs team, the last team from Toronto to win the Stanley Cup.
The PWHL, which is set to start its inaugural season in January, sees the All-Star Weekend as a significant opportunity to showcase its players on an international scale.
