- For visibility, installations are authorized at wayside amenities, rest areas, toll plazas, truck lay-bys and highway start or end points.
- The guidelines set design, dimensions and materials, require a minimum 10-year readability standard and mandate replacement within 30 days if damaged, with no rollout schedule announced.
