NHAI Invites Bids for 20-Kilometre Elevated Corridor From AIIMS to IGI Airport and Gurgaon

Overview

  • NHAI has invited DPR bids for the 20-km elevated flyover project closing on June 27.
  • The corridor will begin at AIIMS, run through Mahipalpur and link to the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road.
  • Project estimates peg the cost at around ₹5,000 crore, subject to feasibility studies of existing infrastructure.
  • Officials project the signal-free route will cut South Delhi to airport travel to about 20 minutes.
  • The flyover is one of six flagship projects in a ₹24,000 crore plan that includes a ₹500 crore Kalindi Kunj interchange with DPR bids due June 23.
