N.H. Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder After Kidnapping Daughters

Dustin Duren, accused of murdering the mother of his children, was captured and the children found safe, triggering the cancellation of an Amber Alert.

Dustin Duren, 37, faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of Caitlyn Naffziger, 31, with whom he had two daughters aged 1 and 4.
An Amber Alert was issued after Duren allegedly kidnapped his daughters following Naffziger's death, who died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Authorities captured Duren in Keene, N.H., approximately 170 miles from where the crime occurred, and the children were found safe.
Duren was ordered to be held without bail during his arraignment, and a probable cause hearing is scheduled for March 13.
The New Hampshire Department of Justice and local police departments thanked the public and the Keene Police Department for their assistance in ensuring the safety of the children.
