- Police say a man smashed a family's windshield with a baseball bat near The Mall at Rockingham Park around 6:25 p.m. Thursday in Salem, New Hampshire.
- Witnesses called 911 and provided a license plate and descriptions, and State Police later stopped the suspect vehicle on I-93 north in Hooksett, where Salem officers made the arrest.
- Authorities identified the suspect as Anthony Bennett Rovelo Baldovino, 21, of Manchester.
- He faces four counts each of kidnapping, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, plus driving after suspension.
- He appeared for a virtual arraignment Friday, where prosecutors said he told police he acted out of irritation over the car ahead moving too slowly; investigators asked anyone with information to contact Officer Christopher Markey at 603-893-1911.
