NFL Veteran Kicker Robbie Gould Announces Retirement

Robbie Gould, former San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl kicker, has announced his retirement after 18 seasons in the NFL.
Gould, who also played for the Chicago Bears and New York Giants, ranks 10th in league history in points scored (1,961) and eighth in field goals made (447).
He was one of the first free agents signed by the 49ers after coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch took over in 2017.
Gould's most memorable kick came during a 2020 playoff win against the Green Bay Packers, where he hit a 45-yard field goal as time expired for a 13-10 win.
Gould is looking forward to pursuing charity work and spending more time with his family in retirement.
