NFL suspends five players for betting infractions, including Detroit receivers Quintez Cephus and Jameson Williams

  • Cephus and Lions safety C.J. Moore were suspended indefinitely for betting on NFL games.
  • Williams, the Lions' 2022 first-round pick, and Lions receiver Stanley Berryhill were suspended for six games for betting on college football games at the Lions' practice facility.
  • Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney was also suspended indefinitely for betting on NFL games.
  • The NFL said its investigation found no evidence any inside information was used or games were compromised.
