NFL Playoffs and Championship Sunday Set All-Time Viewership Records

Chiefs-Ravens and 49ers-Lions games become most-watched AFC and NFC championship games respectively.

The Chiefs' 17-10 victory over the Ravens was the most-watched AFC Championship game to date, averaging 55.47 million viewers on CBS.
The first three weekends of the NFL postseason averaged 38.5 million viewers on television and digital platforms, a 9% increase over last year.
The San Francisco 49ers' 34-31 comeback victory over the Detroit Lions was the most-watched NFC championship game since 2012, averaging 56.69 million viewers.
Championship Sunday averaged 56.1 million viewers, up 11% from last year and the most-watched ever.
In total, 120.4 million viewers tuned in for Championship Sunday -- the highest total unduplicated audience since 2016-17.
