NFL Players Vote Patrick Mahomes as Best Player

Despite a down year, Mahomes' ability to bring the Chiefs back from any deficit earns him top spot in player poll.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was voted the best player in the NFL in a player poll conducted by The Athletic, receiving 46.4% of the votes.
The next closest vote-getter was Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who received 8.9% of the votes.
Despite a somewhat down year for Mahomes and the Chiefs, players praised Mahomes for his ability to bring the team back from any deficit.
In the same poll, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys were voted as having the most annoying fan bases.
Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Tomlin was voted the top coach to play for, with 26.4% of the vote.
