NFL Confirms Chargers to Host 2025 Season Opener in Brazil

The Los Angeles Chargers will play as the designated home team in São Paulo’s Corinthians Arena on September 5, marking the NFL's second regular-season game in Brazil.

The Chargers will face a yet-to-be-announced opponent in São Paulo, with details expected during the NFL’s schedule release in May 2025.
This marks the second consecutive year the NFL will hold a regular-season game in Brazil, following the Eagles-Packers matchup in 2024.
The game will take place at Corinthians Arena, a venue used for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics, and is scheduled for the Friday of Week 1.
Brazil represents the NFL’s second-largest international fan base, with over 36 million fans, and generated $60 million in economic impact from last year’s game.
The Chargers will become the first NFL team to play on five continents, furthering the league’s efforts to expand its global presence with seven international games scheduled for 2025.
