NFL Approves End Zone Social Justice Messages for 2025 Season

With a pared-down slate of four options emphasizing player input, the league enters its sixth season of on-field social justice messaging.

Overview

  • On August 14 the NFL formalized its annual end zone messaging program for the 2025 regular season.
  • At each home game teams must select one slogan from “End Racism,” “Stop Hate,” “Choose Love” or “Inspire Change” for display in a single end zone.
  • “It Takes All of Us” will remain in the opposite end zone at every game and will be paired with “End Racism” at all international contests.
  • The only change to the message slate from 2024 is the replacement of “Vote” with “Inspire Change.”
  • Players will again have the option to feature an approved slogan on helmet decals, while the broader Inspire Change initiative has invested more than $460 million in community programs since 2017.
