Neymar Returns to FC Santos After Saudi Contract Termination

The Brazilian football star announced his move back to his boyhood club following an injury-plagued stint with Al-Hilal.

Neymar, 32, confirmed his return to FC Santos, where he began his professional career, in a social media video.
The move follows an amicable contract termination with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, where he struggled with injuries and limited appearances.
During his initial tenure at Santos from 2009 to 2013, Neymar scored 134 goals in 220 matches before moving to FC Barcelona.
His stint at Al-Hilal, which began in August 2023 after a €90 million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, was marred by a serious knee injury and subsequent fitness issues.
Neymar remains the record holder for the highest transfer fee in football history, with his €222 million move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017.
